Yesterday:
Basal: 0.875 (all day)
9.00 - 5.2
1.5 units of insulin with breakfast - two slices of toast (30g so half insulin)
2.5 hour training session. (1 banana and 1 gel - 50g no insulin)
11.30 - 5.3
11.45 - Energy drink (40g) 3 units.
12.30 - 6.2
Lunch - 2 bagals, salad and 3 fruit bar type things - (10 units)
15.00 - 8.7
18.00 - 6.7
19.00 - Pizza - 3 slices - Dual wave bolus for all the fat (10 units)
22.00 - 5.3
Hell yeah!!!!!

Here is a pizza related fact we learnt:
-It takes 2 hours of intensive ping-pong ball playing to burn off 1 measly slice of pizza.
And I was so looking forward to going to pizza provençale tonight...
Firstly - the numbers next to times are my blood sugars - between 4 - 7 is good. The rest is food and insulin doses. So yesterday I had a good day.
ReplyDeleteOn the pizza front - last night I had three pieces of pizza (american sized) but I like the idea of ping-pong to burn it off rather than cycling :D
